Ar Lietuvai reikalingos saugomos teritorijos?
Travel to Belarus of BSR Kurtuvenai RP
From 28th of September till 3th of October our staff of Kurtuvenai Regional Park together with historians from Siauliai University, our partner in INTERREG project, organized travel to Belarus. During our tour we visited Narochansky National Park and places, meaningful for Lithuanian history, in surroundings of Naugardukas (Novogrudok), Brest, Lida, Gardinas (Grodno).
Communicating with workers from national park and other museums, we cognized, that nature education is not new idea for them, but paying heed to tourism, health resort, disport (hunt and fishery), they usually organize excursions, and have no special education activities for school classes. Traveling we visited some manors and castles, saw a lot of traditional villages and that helped us to know better the life-style of community of street-village and to seize deeper history of our state.
