25 May , 2007. Opening day of the educational – ecological path “Nature puzzle” in Kursiu nerija national park
Children of Primary school “Saltinelis” took part in the exemplary lesson in the path “Nature Puzzle” in Kursiu nerija National Park. The lesson was watched by schoolteachers, future educators and other groups of community. The path is mostly oriented for preschool and primary school children. Nature study is organized using different puzzles, games, visual and sensual methods. Visiting of the path develops new imagination, logical mind, and gives knowledge about different nature objects.
After the lesson we had the discussion “Environmental education: possibilities and perspectives”. Among participants there were members of Education Department of Klaipeda and Neringa municipalities, the Head of Primary education Department of Klaipeda College, schoolteachers, specialists of Kursiu nerija National Park. People of KNNPd presented education program for children, which was created and applied to every year season. The key point of the discussion was the collaboration of these institutions concerning the preparation of educational programs, preparation of teachers and educators.
