Ar Lietuvai reikalingos saugomos teritorijos?
Conference "Visitor/Nature Centres - today and tomorrow", in Lithuania
Lithuanian partners of BSR EAGLE project call for the National Conference on 27- 28 of April 2006: "Visitor/Nature Centres - today and tomorrow". This is the one of the main themes in Lithuania currently. Administrations of Lithuanian Protected areas that have visitor (or nature) centres will share their best practise and experience with administrations, which plan to establish Visitor/Nature Centres in a short run. The main aims of the conference are to define the differences between Nature and Visitor Centres, for in Lithuanian these two words have the same meaning now, and to formulate recommendations for the NC strategy.
In the Conference, representatives from all administrations of Lithuanian Protected areas, State Service for Protected Areas and other organisations will participate.
