| Lithuanian specialists on nature protection in Matsalu and Hiiumaa, Estonia 40 specialists on nature protection and national parks form Lithuania came to visit Estonia on 21-23rd of September. First destination of the study tour took Lithuanians to Matsalu National Park. Director of the NP (BSR EAGLE project partner) Kaja Lotman guided colleagues around the park and gave and oberwiev on latest developments of the Lääne region of protected areas. On Friday, 22nd of September, Lithuanian colleagues arrived to the island Hiiumaa. The visit started with the seminar in Hiiumaa County Government premices. The seminar introduced the state of art in Hiiumaa nature protection system and people working within. Later, the tour to Kõpu peninsula took place. On Saturday, the tour continued to the south of Hiiumaa concluding the visit.
